To get started simply:
1- Register with ClaimConnect
Both new and existing clients will need to register on ClaimConnect.
Simply go to www.dentalxchange.com, click on Register. Create a new account or edit your existing account. Select batch file upload using DentOffice as your Practice Management Software. Choose the Batch Claims Upload Package at pricing of $0.37 per claim for all payers. (Print Claims Included)

2- Setup in DentOffice
Setup the ClaimConnect in Edit Clearinghouse as follows:
You may have to create a folder for your claims (C:\ClaimConnect\Upload\ in the example above). It doesn't really matter where this folder is. It's just a place where the claim files are stored temporarily until they are sent.
3- Submitting Electronic Claims

Some History
EDI Health Group was the first clearinghouse that worked with DentOffice with their WebClaim product. However, the old interface fell into disrepair as changes were made to DentOffice. For current versions of DentOffice, you must use the new X-12 functionality as shown above. For older versions, the WebClaim module is installed separately by clicking on one of the links below.
For DentOffice version 2.5: http://www.webclaim.net/Downloads/AppInstallers/OpenDental/WebClaimOD2.5.0.0.zip
For DentOffice version 2.8 or 2.9: http://www.webclaim.net/Downloads/AppInstallers/OpenDental/WebClaimOD2.8.20.0.zip
DentOffice version 3.0 and 3.1 might work, but we're not really sure.
DentOffice version 3.4 uses X-12 and works very well with the ClaimConnect portal.
